Consultancy Services

Practical technical and resilience leadership grounded in decades of delivery. We help organisations design, build and operate reliable systems, embed continuity across teams, and develop the capability to sustain change.

Business Continuity & Resilience

We create proportionate continuity programmes that teams can use in the real world. Our focus is on clear escalation, practical playbooks and immersive exercises that build confidence and capability.

  • Continuity planning – proportionate plans, escalation matrices and role briefs.
  • Scenario exercises – table reads, roleplay and immersive drills to test response and decision making.
  • Operational readiness – playbooks, checklists and rapid activation procedures.
  • SME support – lightweight continuity packages for organisations without dedicated BC teams.
  • Fractional continuity and resilience leadership – strategic input and continuity oversight for organisations without in‑house teams, including SMEs seeking scalable support.

Technology Leadership & Development

End‑to‑end technical leadership from concept through continuous delivery and support. We combine product thinking and engineering craft to deliver systems that meet business, compliance and operational needs.

  • Systems architecture – pragmatic, maintainable platform design and technical roadmaps.
  • Full lifecycle delivery – discovery, iterative development, continuous integration and handover into support.
  • Bespoke systems – tailored platforms for complex operational and compliance requirements.
  • Enterprise domain expertise – fund administration, investor workflows, AML/KYC and document management.
  • Operational tooling and governance – ITSM, monitoring, runbooks, change and incident management.
  • Fractional CTO and leadership – interim executive cover, vendor oversight and strategic technical direction.

Product Management & Delivery Ops

We help teams translate business goals into prioritized roadmaps, measurable outcomes and predictable delivery. Our product support spans discovery, backlog management and release planning.

  • Discovery sprints – rapid problem framing and a prioritized backlog.
  • Roadmaps and governance – stakeholder alignment and release planning.
  • Product ownership – user stories, acceptance criteria and quality assurance.

Why Fractional Continuity?

Continuity planning is rarely urgent – until it is. And by the time it becomes urgent, it’s often too late to build the structures, decisions and behaviours that make a response effective.

Most organisations know they need continuity planning, but when revenue is tight it’s one of the first things to slip. It often gets pushed into ICT under the banner of disaster recovery, which adds pressure to technical teams and leaves gaps everywhere else. ICT teams are already managing DR, supporting users through disruptions, and adapting systems to changing working practices – and continuity planning is a completely different discipline layered on top. With many systems now in the cloud, DR is frequently assumed to be “handled by the vendor”, leading to minimal verification and no ongoing revalidation. The organisation believes continuity is covered, but in reality no one is actively considering operational response, communication or decision-making under pressure.

Fractional continuity leadership gives you senior expertise without the cost of a full‑time hire. It provides a bridge between ICT, operations and leadership, ensuring that plans are proportionate, adaptable and understood by the people who need them. It’s a practical, affordable way to build resilience before you need it – not after.

Organisations use fractional continuity in different ways depending on their maturity and internal capacity:

  • Get – for teams with no continuity function. We establish proportionate continuity plans, clear roles and escalation pathways, and introduce structured decision‑support so teams can respond flexibly and confidently.
  • Improve – for organisations with some capability but gaps in governance, verification or cross‑team alignment. We strengthen what exists, validate assumptions and build adaptable response capability through scenario‑based discussions and readiness checks.
  • Support – for organisations with continuity ownership in place but not enough bandwidth to scale. We provide additional capacity for plan refreshes, scenario work, incident support and cloud/DR validation. We also create redundancy for the continuity function itself: if internal leads are stretched or affected by the same disruption, fractional support ensures continuity leadership remains available from outside the impact zone.

Fractional continuity gives you the level of support you need, when you need it – whether you’re starting from scratch, strengthening what you have, or scaling capacity during periods of change.

Discovery Sprint — 2 to 4 weeks

A short, focused engagement to move from uncertainty to a scoped delivery plan. We run interviews, map systems, and deliver a prioritized plan and cost estimate so you can decide with confidence.

What we deliver

  • Problem framing and success metrics.
  • High-level architecture and risk assessment.
  • Prioritised backlog and recommended first release to prove value.
  • Estimated cost & timeline for delivery.

Typical timeline & price

2–4 weeks. Price band: £3,000-£8,000 depending on scope and stakeholder interviews.
