What we do
The Education Hub designs and delivers inclusive performing arts programmes, curriculum development and professional mentorship. We combine classroom-tested pedagogy with creative production experience to support schools, colleges and community organisations in developing sustainable, high-quality arts provision.
Core offers
- Curriculum design and accreditation – bespoke schemes of work in dance, drama and movement aligned to national standards and local priorities.
- SEND and therapeutic arts – specialist programmes using TEACCH, Attention Autism, SCERTS and Zones of Regulation to make learning accessible and meaningful.
- Teacher development and mentoring – CPD, coaching and classroom modelling to build staff confidence and capability.
- Community and outreach programmes – projects that connect schools with local partners, industry outreach and public performance opportunities.
- Creative production support – practical production, directing and project management to translate learning into public work and showcase student achievement.
SEND and pedagogical approach
Our practice is grounded in evidence-based SEND approaches and trauma-informed pedagogy. Lessons are planned with clear learning intentions, scaffolded practice and sensory-aware adaptations. We use formative assessment, adapted risk assessments and collaborative planning with LSAs to ensure every learner can access and progress within the arts.
We measure impact through progress tracking, performance review and qualitative feedback from pupils, families and staff. Our programmes emphasise functional outcomes – communication, attention, social skills and wellbeing – alongside artistic development.
Partnerships and outcomes
We work with schools, local authorities, cultural organisations and industry partners to create sustainable provision. Examples include establishing new performing arts departments, accrediting movement curricula and connecting students with professional outreach programmes. Our work delivers improved engagement, stronger staff capability and visible student outcomes.
How to engage
Typical engagements include curriculum commissions, short-term residencies, CPD packages, mentorship schemes and community projects. We tailor each programme to context and capacity, and provide clear success metrics and reporting.
